The examples are really clear and the whole book is easy to follow. Books and Programs to Avoid We do not recommend a book that is typically used in language classrooms.
There's even one designed for native Spanish speakers trying to learn English. I purchased this book because I'm taking German classes and learning German grammar is challenging to put it mildly.

I am very glad that I have now gotten around to getting it, and I am not disappointed in the slightest. If students are required to be familiar with the grammar before arriving to class, the learning environment playing games creates—wanting to win—will ensure that students do their reading!
You can also save your money when it comes to books like "501 German verbs. Not THE easiest - that's apparently Dutch, I found out four years into learning German - but certainly easier than many others. 'Yeah, or you could just say "vay", like in German. Yet, when one needs an alternative explanation from the course text, this book is an excellent go-to. It's unfortunate that it has come to this, but it's a welcome aid.
Then I got sick of saying "double U", and decided we should say "way" instead.
